We have had several parents ask if they are any items that we need for our class.  Of course there are many things that we could use and much of it is stuff that you would throw out.  As they say, “One person’s junk is another one’s treasure.”

Some things that have great learning value that you may throw out are:

•any sized piece of plastic pipes

•boxes and packing from appliances

•clear plastic containers with a lid (that we can turn into creature keepers)

•yarn

•bits of fabric or ribbon

•tree cookies (a round from a tree)

•leftover craft supplies

•photo albums that hold a single photo per page

The item that we always need is TAPE-any kind, any size!

We also love to have puzzles and books that your children have outgrown when you move on from Kindergarten.
