Thank you to everyone who came to our Open House last night.  Children are always so excited to show their families where they play and learn each day.  Many families found all of the items on the scavenger hunt and the children were so proud to find their first day photo to take home.

We are very blessed with the many kind families in Room 22.  Thank you for the generous donations of dramatic play costumes, an awesome wheel garbage bin for toy storage, dinky cars and Dollarama gift cards! Now we have lots of things to keep us busy, happy and learning both indoors and outdoors.

In Room 22 students were excited about creating their own treasure maps and learning about pirates. We dressed up as pirates, found buried treasure in the sand centre, made pirate art and wrote about pirate adventures. June is Pride Month

We enjoyed a beautiful June day to sit under our rainbow flag and read “Morris Micklewhite and The Tangerine Dress” and discuss how everyone is different and how it makes the world a wonderful place!
