End of Year Celebration: Ice Cream Party

As a celebration of our year, we would like to have an ice cream party on our final day together, Thursday, June 25. We will bring the vanilla ice cream and ask students to please bring a nut-free topping to share (e.g., sauce, sprinkles, maraschino cherries, whipped cream, bananas, etc.).

Chinese New Year in Room 22

This week we have been learning about Chinese New Year. We learned that it is the year of the goat. We made paper lanterns and tried to pick up cotton balls with chopsticks!  We discovered that dragons are good luck and many students have enjoyed making colourful dragon puppets.
