In Room 22 students were excited about creating their own treasure maps and learning about pirates. We dressed up as pirates, found buried treasure in the sand centre, made pirate art and wrote about pirate adventures.

We finished our inquiry with a whole class treasure hunt!  There were clues and pieces to the map hidden around the classroom. Some clues were in our shoe bins, on the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tree, on the iPads and even on the rainbow table.  The treasure chest was hiding in our Lunch Family labels and there was chocolate coins in it!
