W-O Music is excited to announce two new outdoor community concert opportunities for our music groups this month.

Tuesday, May 17th – All our instrumental ensembles will travel to Nithview Home in New Hamburg to perform outside in their courtyard. The concert will

feature the Sr. Concert Band, Jr. Concert Band, Sr. Stage Band, Percussion Ensemble as well as our Jazz Choir. The performance will run from 7:00-8:00pm. Students should arrive at Nithview at 6:30pm for setup and warmup. Students will need to provide their own transportation to and from the event. Full W-O Music uniform is expected.

Tuesday, May 24th – All our vocal ensembles are participating in a brand new event called Choirs in the Park at the gazebo in Kirkpatrick Park in New Hamburg (near the New Hamburg Dam and the water wheel). This is a free concert that’s open to the public and will feature the Chamber Choir, Concert Choir, Intrepid and Appassionata. The performance will run from 7:00-8:00pm. Students should arrive at the park by 6:30pm for warmup. Students will need to provide their own transportation to and from the event but parents are welcome to bring a lawn chair to enjoy the performance. Full W-O Music uniform is expected.
