It is always exciting and nerve wracking starting a new year of school: new clothes, new backpack, new grade, new teachers, new school. There are a lot of new experiences!

For my French Immersion classes, the first few weeks of school are all about getting back into the habit of speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French. For both 71 and 81, that means practicing classroom and conversational expressions, as well as verbs. After a summer of speaking (mostly or all) English, it is important that we work diligently to speak only French in class. We are, after all, in a French Immersion class!
