With the first week of school at a close, I am amazed at how quickly all of my students have begun the year.

81 has adapted well to the independence and responsibility required of them – lockers upstairs (no sharing this year!) and much expected of them as the grade eight leaders of Doon. We started the year running with verbs and routines, and will continue to get used to speaking and thinking in French.

71 is full of surprises, having already learned their roll call and how to get online – Google Classroom, FI Resources, and Mme T’s Blog. I am looking forward to reading all about them in their first assignment from Thursday: ‘Je me présente’. I can feel that this is going to be a wonderful year!
