With twenty-four days before I welcome new and returning French Immersion students to Doon, I am busy working on all things tech – my resource site, my twitter feed, my pinterest board, and the online learning environment. I have been staying occupied all summer tinkering on verb pages, grammar documents, and assembling a list of links and resources for parents and students. I’m ready to begin this school year in a prepared and excited way.

I hope that all students and their families in the Doon community are enjoying their time to relax and reconnect with family and friends over campfires, barbecues, pool parties, and impromptu get-togethers. There is an abundance of time and good weather left to be had! We have a later start that normal to the school year, as labour day falls into the first week of September.
