Hello Parents,
Students have been informed of their test tomorrow. I have shown them the test and I’ve gone over what I need from them. We will be starting Integers on Friday as you know this is a spiralling curriculum and even though we start a new unit we will always revisit algebra.

Learning Goals for our Integers lesson will be:

-identify and compare integers represent and order integers, using a variety of tools (e.g., two colour counters, virtual manipulatives, number lines)
-visually represent adding and subtraction of integers (e.g., two colour counters, virtual manipulatives, number lines)
-add and subtract integers symbolically e.g. (-3) + 5, (-3) – 5
-visually represent the multiplication and division of integers multiply and divide integers symbolically e.g. (-3) x 5, (-6) ÷ 2
