Hello Parents,

We have officially started our Interactions in the Environment Unit and already there have been some great discussions about Ecosystems and the environmental factors involved in sustaining ecosystems. We will be completing a folding activity and will be exploring new vocabulary related to the unit. We will be touching on all the basic needs in order for things to survive as well as levels of the ecosystem from the smallest unit of life to the cell to a community of organisms living together. We will be identifying what that looks like and will be able to describe some of the factors pertainingto that. Our discussions long term will be the following:

Success Criteria
Evaluate the long term effects humans have had on our environment
Learning Goals
Identify the social, economic and environmental factors involved in sustaining ecosystems.
