We were on the look out for winter seedheads and animal tracks in the snow during our visit to Forest School. Β We found teeny tiny tracks that went into a small hole and the students had many ideas about what had made them…maybe ants or rabbits.Β We talked about why it could or couldn’t be those things. Mrs. Johnstone told us that mice made them.

We love to use the Diversity Sheets that we have from the University of Guelph – Arboretum. We compare the things we find to the pictures on the sheets and see if we can figure out what we are seeing.
