Analyzing Current Economic Issues

Prerequisites: Any university or university/college preparation course in Canadian and world studies, English, or social sciences and humanities

Type: University

Details: Is our obsession with lawn care a smart choice? Would you perform better at school if you were paid to do it? Is standing in line a good use of time and resources? Each of us makes about 35,000 decisions a day. The choices that individuals, firms, and government make are what move the local, national, and global economy. Investigating and analysing current Canadian economic issues and marketplace dynamics will help you develop valuable economic-reasoning and decision-making skills. Become a more informed consumer and achieve a greater understanding of the way businesses & government work. Whether preparing for post-secondary business studies or not; this course will provide a greater context and appreciation for your place in the world around you and how it works. (BTW, being paid to go to school will NOT better your performance!)
