This week we will continue some reading responses for our class read aloud Because of Winn-Dixie.  We will focus on answering questions completely.  We start by using part of the question in the answer.  We use the word ‘because’ or a variation of it and then we give evidence from the text to justify our answer.

In math, we are moving on to measuring length.  Check the measurement rubric for the expectations that we will cover in this unit.

Words of the week:  centimetre, length, width, height, metre

During our class meeting time, we will discuss what it means to be grateful/thankful.
