Since the winter weather finally arrived we have been having lots of wintery fun.  We have been “ice fishing” at the dramatic play centre for letters and numbers, reading and writing about what animals do in the winter, sledding, shovelling snow and building lots of snow forts outside.

We used watercolour paint to make patterns on our winter hats. Then we wound yarn around and around and around (a really good lesson in patience!) to make a pompom!
