As I find new ways to engage student in their learning, some of the teaching platforms I use are managed by third parties which require parental permission.  Third party platforms allow me to use the innovation of teaching applications that have been created by other developers and participate in cool events that have been organized by others.  Third party applications and events can represent years of expertise (ex. Carnegie Melon University Robotics Academy), provide a simple way to share information (ex. Google Classrooms), allow students to participate in contests (ex. River of Words Art & Poetry contest) or participate in off campus field trips (ex. FIRST LEGO League Robotics challenge).

Please use the left sidebar to find your child’s class and access links that will provide more information about any online platforms that I am proposing to use in class.  I will either use School-Day or paper permission forms to request your permission before including your child in any of these activities or events.  If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me at the school.
