March 13th, 2020

This week has brought a lot of unexpected changes, starting with the announcement that Mrs. Brock will be leaving us shortly to begin a new adventure with Westheights Public School in Kitchener, Crazy Sock Day occurring tomorrow and now, the additional two weeks of  March Break in response to the emergence in Ontario of COVID-19.

I had told the students that I would not give homework over March Break (Although I strongly encouraged them to continue to read for enjoyment) as I believe they deserve a break. But, a few parents have reached out to me for some activities for their student to do during the additional two week closure. I will be giving each student a package of activities they could do during this time. This package is TOTALLY voluntary. I have tried to gather activities that are review or areas that could be improved (e.g., division facts).
