Students in the Waterloo Region District School Board have been provided with Google Apps for Education accounts. GAFE allows students to share their writing with others. By sharing their writing with others in the class, students can seek out assistance with revising and editing from their peers or their teacher. As a teacher the collaboration makes it easier for me to provide timely feedback to students.
GAFE apps include: Google Drive (cloud storage), Gmail (email), Google Groups (collaborative blogging), Google Docs (word processing), as well as many others. Students may access their GAFE accounts from home as well… so no more excuses about forgetting to bring home their work ;). Below is a link students can use to access their GAFE account.
