I also attended Stewart Avenue and Glenview. I&#8217;m local, through and through!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Family<\/strong><br \/>\nI have an older brother named Todd and a younger brother Craig, so that makes me the &#8220;monkey in the middle.&#8221; My mom, Nancy, stayed at home to raise three boys until we were in school. \u00a0She is retired after working in a school, just like me! \u00a0I spent 8 awesome years at Chalmers Street. \u00a0In 2012 I joined the new Moffat Creek community.\u00a0 This fall, I am starting my second year working with the staff and students at Elgin Street!<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<hr noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"1\" width=\"99%\" \/>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: verdana, geneva\"><b>Professional Development<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: verdana, geneva\">The more you know, the more there is to learn. \u00a0The teaching profession is no exception. \u00a0Through attending various courses, I have had the opportunity to study the latest research, theories and practices related to teaching Reading, differentiating instruction for all students, designing motivation in the classroom, fostering collaborative inquiry for students, teaching acceptance of responsibility, classroom management, adapting my teaching to fit various learning styles, and how to encourage possibility thinking in my classroom, as well as various technology-based teaching applications.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">Sep. 2025<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mr. James Landon, OCT Early Years I was born, raised and live in Cambridge. \u00a0I attended Chalmers Street P.S. not too far from here for Kindergarten to grade 5. \u00a0It is pure coincidence that I spent the first 8 years of my career teaching there!
