We had a glorious fall day at the Shantzholm Farm on Monday, October 22.

Students got to meet a variety of farm animals, such as a donkey, pigs, calves, sheep, chickens, miniature horses and goats.

Then, they had fun in the hay bale maze that was filled with ride-on toys, climbers and cabins.

Next, we walked to the corn maze and picked our own indian corn.

We all climbed on board the hay wagons for a bumpy ride to the pumpkin patch. Β There we heard about how pumpkins grow. Students searched for the perfect pumpkin and gourd…so many different shapes, colours and sizes!

Finally, we had another hayride with Dixie, the farm dog, back to the buses.
