My name is Mrs. Brenda Fowler.  I am excited to be entering my twenty-fourth year of teaching, my thirteenth year at Highland PS.  I spent my first few years teaching in Special Education placements and have been in Kindergarten and Grade 1 for almost 15 years now.  I am thrilled to be one of Highland’s Special Education Resource Teacher this September.  I have come to realize Highland P.S. is a very special place and I am very excited about returning, as I first attended the school from Kindergarten to Grade 5, just a few years ago (but whose counting).   I am so proud to return to my first school and my goal is for all of our students to have as many fond memories of Highland as I do. I love teaching and feel privileged to work with your child this year as we share in this exciting learning journey together.  In my spare time, I can be seen at hockey arenas and baseball diamonds with my family or walking my dogs.   I also enjoy learning new things.
