To effectively argue that you understand the audience of an ad, you should be able to say something about some or all of the following characteristics of the person whom the advertiser is targeting:

age                                                                      gender

geographical location                                        interests (sports, hobbies, passions)

profession                                                         nationality, culture, race, religion, languages spoken

socio-economic class                                        political and social beliefs

education level
