Useful Programs
You will find the following free programs very useful for any science course.
Mathtype is a freeware program that provides you with the ability to type equations, and present calculations. The program integrates with Word or Pages in either a windows or mac environment. After the 30 day trial you are left with a “lite” version that is quite adequate.
Chemsketch is a freeware program that draws molecules, names organic molecules, and provides a template with a variety of science apparatus. This is also very useful in biology.
