Some families may not have had good dental care in the past or have lacked the opportunity/resources to learn good dental hygiene habits. Did you know that in addition to free dental screening in schools, children can get FREE dental care in our region if they do not have dental insurance coverage? Programs also exist for free dental care for recipients of Ontario Works and ODSP. In addition, Teachers can order free kits for the classroom that contain dental health resources for themselves and their students.
